Kin Spritz vs Moment: The Two Cans You Buy for the Occasion
Photograph: Adobe Stock, licensed 20 August 2026. A generic mocktail, not either product below.
Neither of these is a supplement and both are sold as one, gently. They are the drinks you reach for instead of a glass of wine, and on that job they are two of the best products in this category. On disclosure they are the two worst.

The price gap is 35 percent and buys you less information
$3.75 against $2.77, and the more expensive one tells you less. It is also a smaller can: 8 fl oz against 11.5. Per fluid ounce the gap widens to about 95 percent.
Moment is tier 3: the ingredients are named and never quantified, and their position on the list at least tells you they sit below the sweetener. Kin is tier 4: everything is inside one bracket, so even the ordering rule stops applying.
Caffeine is the practical difference
This is the one that should decide it for most people. These are evening drinks. Moment has no caffeine. Kin Spritz contains caffeine anhydrous at an amount nobody will tell you.
If the reason you are drinking a non-alcoholic can at 8pm is that you want to sleep well, that is a decisive difference and it has nothing to do with adaptogens.
The one real safety note
Kin Spritz contains 5-HTP. It interacts with SSRIs and other serotonergic medication, and the amount is not published. If you take anything in that class, ask a pharmacist before you drink these. Moment’s ingredient list carries nothing in that category.
Where Kin still wins
Presentation and the sense of occasion. Kin Euphorics built this category and it shows in the object. If you are handing someone a drink and you want it to feel like a drink, Kin does that better.
And a third option neither of them mentions
Recess Mood is $2.75 a can, caffeine free like Moment, and publishes 53 mg of magnesium, which is more than either of these tells you about anything. If you are choosing an evening can on the merits rather than on the label, it belongs in this comparison.
Verdict: Moment, on price, on can size, on caffeine, and on the fact that it does not put an undisclosed amount of 5-HTP in a social beverage. Kin is the nicer object and it is a dollar a can more for the privilege of knowing less. If you buy Kin anyway, buy it direct: Amazon charges 54 percent more.
